An 8 week Parenting program developed to educate and equip parents with the necessary skills to address parental responsibilities and handle problematic behavior in their children. Course topics include child development, stress management, appropriate discipline, co-parenting, healthy homes and much more.

A 10 week Parent Education program designed to give parents the skills necessary to parent strong-willed or difficult teens. This class empowers parents to take back control of their homes and addresses behaviors in teenagers such as: bad attitudes, poor school performance, gang involvement and drug and alcohol use.

A program for non-custodial fathers which focuses on the importance of a father and the role that a father plays in the life of his children. Through this program we offer 24/7 Dads classes and work with fathers who are unemployed or underemployed on employability skills, resume writing, employment leads and economic stability.

Monthly parenting workshops on various topics that parents will find useful in every day parenting.

A program designed for teen moms to prepare for the birth and after-care of their baby. This program is offered to pregnant and parenting teens in local high schools.

This school based program works with students grades K-12 and is designed to teach about responsibility, effective communication, goal setting, decision making, healthy relationships, cause and effect of their behavior and bullying issues.

Strengthening Families through workforce development - Pay to Learn Job Readiness Class

 The program assists participants with job exploration and employability skills.  Searching for jobs, completing applications, creating a resume, mock interviewing, and career exploration are also incorporated into the four week program. Participants also have the opportunity to prepare for the GED test, attend Digital Literacy Classes, and prepare for the National Career Readiness Certificate/WorkKeys. 


Participants will receive a stipend when all programs components are completed.
